An enlightened perspective that is a God send. Transparent pursuasion in a direction to be desired.
How can something so sweet and simple be so thought provoking and profound!?! What an endearing gift these poems are! The artistic photographs help the mind linger and grasp the thought to reset my day for God's glory and to listen how he is calling us through the wind.
If you spend any time at all in the digital world (and who doesn't) then this book will speak to your heart, reminding you of what is real - and really important in life. "Digital" is a necessary and functionasl part of our lives, but it should not be our master. This book brilliantly and creatively draws us back to a proper perspective.
We truly don't realize that we are online so much. Sometimes we are in the same room and not together...at home, at restaurants. Remember when we used to "talk" and not text and Facebook message? Love this little gem.

This gorgeous collage of poetry and photography reminds us that it does. Less time online; more time on LIFE. There's an important shift that needs to happen here, a gentle nudging for hearts and minds to turn back toward the most important things. Jen has a deep heart, a light touch, and an eye for the beautiful small moments in life. This book is a breath of fresh air that lasts long beyond its easy reading.
A couple of years ago, I heard the author recite her poem to a room filled with online influencers. I remember thinking at the time, "I need to get a copy of that so I don't forget." I'm so thrilled she published it in this sweet book for all to see, read, and take to heart. If you spend a good deal of your time online, please do take it to heart. Life is passing by. Take a reset. Don't miss your "real" life.
